In keeping with our priorities, to-date we have:
Kept each of our 262 Catholic schools open and operating during this school year.
Staved off catastrophic enrollment decline – approx. 13% (ES) and 6% (HS) vs. forecast of 20%.
Reopened over 100 schools with modified in-person instruction and/or high-need student cohorts.
Secured over $69.7M in funds from the SBA PPP grant program, philanthropy and individual donors to support destressed Catholic school families, staff and schools.
Distributed a 30-day supply of PPE to all ADLA schools from the state at no-cost and an additional 30-day supply to 80 high-need schools.
Distributed over 25,000 iPads and purchased and distributed another 1,000 iPads and 1,000 hot spots to students in need this fall. The digital divide remains a challenge and we continue to seek funding and devices to help those most in need.
Served over 2 million meals to high-need students and families at 40 school sites through the National School Lunch Program.
